This plaid desk got a total makeover. The body was given two coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Chateau Grey. Then the top was transformed with differing shades of ASCP in a plaid pattern to give the piece a unique look. The drawers are painted in Old White. The piece was lightly distressed and then waxed with a mixture of dark and clear wax to give a protective finish and slight sheen.

This chalkboard started out as an antique footboard. The footboard was painted with chalkboard paint and the edges were parinted with chalk paint in Old White to give it a fresh look.
