Alright! I’m officially ready for fall! And I’m so glad it’s finally here. Well, kinda! Today it’s cold and rainy, but it sounds like later in the week it will be warmer. Isn’t it funny how the changing season kind of prep us instead of just throw us into the next one?
We’ve had a couple pallets sitting in our driveway since early this summer and I thought it was time to do something with them before the snow starts flying. You know that’s not far off, right?!

How is summer almost over already? I’d love to say that we spent many days at the beach this summer, but really, I don’t like the beach. I get sunburned so easily that it really isn’t that fun. Honestly, we didn’t make it to the beach last year, either! Ugh! I’m such a bad mommy! Well, we did make it to a couple pools and a splash pad, so I guess that’s not so bad! And we just got back from taking our kids to a water park/resort for my oldest daughter’s bday, so I guess I’m not that bad of a mommy after all. Hopefully! 😉
