Going Green : Bold Color Inspiration

I may be getting way ahead of myself here, but I can’t help it!  We are neck deep in the middle of our basement bathroom remodel (total gut job, starting from the ground up!) and I’m getting anxious for the fun design part.

So far we’ve purchased the tub and the floor and shower tile and picked out the sink/vanity, but haven’t bought that yet.  The vanity needs a little sprucing up and I really can’t get enough of green lately, so I’m thinking more and more that’s what color it will end up.

I can’t wait to get my paws on it, but of course we would need to buy it, right?  I forgot to mention yesterday that the vanity will be on sale for IKEA Family members (which doesn’t require much to become) in another week or two, so we’re waiting till then to buy it.  We aren’t ready for it anyway, so it’s fine … I guess!

Anywho … while I wait for my precious vanity, I’ve been busy searching for the perfect green for its makeover.

What do you think these ideas?  Do you have a favorite?  Are you as into the green as I am?  I’m surprised I love it so much, to tell you the truth!  I think this basement reno is actually bringing out a more bold, fun side of my design sense and I kinda love it.  There’s been a definite shift for me lately.

Don’t forget to follow me on pinterest as I continue to gather ideas for the basement bathroom, bonus room, and the rest of the house!

Hi Alli! I could easily see that color in your home, I think it would be nice and would add some color and brightness to the downstairs bathroom … a very cool idea! And … if later you decide you’d like another color, I know someone who is an amazing painter and decorator that could change it out … YOU! I’d say go for it … well if Trav agrees of course, but I’m thinking he’d go for it too! 😀
