It’s that time again! Time to turn that Christmas music on and brush up on your crafting skills! As you know by now, I’m kind of obsessed with banners, so of course I had to make one for Christmas. With the help of Mod Podge, I added a little glitter this time.
Here’s how I made my banner…
Star cutout (on cardstock)
Vintage book pages cut into bunting
FolkArt multi-surface satin acrylic paint in Classic Green
Paint brush or pouncer
Mod Podge Extreme Glitter
Mod Podge brush applicator
.. .. ..
First, get out your book pages, star cutout, FolkArt paint, and paint brush.
Place your star cutout in the center of the book page and apply paint in a pouncing motion. Repeat on all book pages.
Let your paint fully dry. Then grab a new cutout, your painted book pages, and your Glitter Mod Podge and brush applicator.
Place star cutout over painted star. Dip brush applicator in Mod Podge and brush on. Repeat for all book pages.
Let Mod Podge dry. Then string your book pages onto red baker’s twine and hang!
